XJ726, XE935 and unknown Navy Whirlwind. These belonged to the Nene Valley Aviation Society once based at Sywell but then moved to Peterborough area. Also had an Auster? fuselage and a cockpit from something (can’t remember what:o). XJ726 was bought from the MOD and collected from RNAS Wroughton, XE935 was collected from the ATC at Henlow. Anyone know what happened to the NVAS – I was a member.
