Is the DC9 stage 3 noise compliant?
Yes NWAs -9 and retro fitted with the kits…MOST major airports require the stage 3

I think there is a hushkit available though which would seem to indicate that the dc-9s are currently not stage 3 compliant.

I heard that NW got MORE DC9’s
indeed. Once the Bank balance was a little steadier NW brought back most if not all their DC-9s into service. I think they snapped up large ammounts from elsewhere too. This has the effect that the DC-9s are wholey owned. No leases or such. This mean any profit made is 100% NW’s
