There is currently a group in New Zealand (of which I am one) on the hunt for all things Gloster Grebe related (Drawings, Documents, Parts, Photos, Stories etc etc). The overall aim, if sufficient data can be found, is to build a Static replica of NZ501. NZ501 was chosen, because this was the first aircraft funded by Sir Henry Wigram – considered by some to be the father of NZ military aviation. We are currently at the stage of just locating / procuring if possible what Grebe related information exists.
Currently we have a facebook group NZ501 Gloster Grebe

Direct contact can be made via nz501glostergrebe@gmail.com
And now for some pretty pictures (All RNZAF Museum).

Good stuff. Please keep us updated on your project, I have a real fondness for between-wars RAF fighters.

I understand one of our team is in the process establishing contact with the Jet Age Museum.

Have you tried the museum at Staverton? Glosters is their specialist subject, and they have built a replica Gamecock…

Thanks for that Duggy.
I was just considering using the ATA number system to help us sort the Grebe information we are accumulating & I thought why use ATA if we can help it, anyone got a Gloster Drawing Office Manual they could share.
