Well worth a read. Certainly not a pilot I had heard of.

This is quite wierd-was watching a programme just this morning about cruise missiles, and there was an interview with him in which he was talking about tipping up V-1s-never heard of him before-R.I.P, Tip ’em up Terry!

Terry and Lesley
I had the pleasure of meeting Terry and Lesley on a number of occasions; wonderful people. They had ‘style’ – exemplified by the extraordinary manner of their passing.

Sad news indeed. Terry Spencer was featured in a two-part article in Aeroplane magazine August and September 2008.

Wasn’t he featured in one of the magazines a couple of months ago?

I heard a brief obit on Radio 4 last night – unusual in itself.
Very interesting character.

Of all the things he achieved this was the bit that made me sit up the most
“After 62 years of marriage, Terry and Lesley Spencer died within 24 hours of each other. She telephoned him at the hospital in Odiham, Hampshire, and asked the nurse to hold the phone to his ear as he was very weak. Lesley told him that she loved him very much, went to sleep and never woke up. “
Love conquers all,may they both RIP .
