Just thought I’d say farewell before I leave for Mumbai, India tomorrow night. For those that don’t know (oh I sound like such a boaster) I’m travelling out on the Virgin Atlantic ‘Dreaming of Mumbai’ tour with Sir Richard Branson to celebrate the first VS flight to BOM. We are all meeting up at T3 at LHR at 1700 tomorrow to check in before a press conference at 1800. We’ve then got a party in the Virgin Clubhouse before we board our flight to Mumbai at 2115. I’m so honoured to have been invited and will make sure I return with lots of photos and some great stories to share with you guys…..Upper Class all the way which is a bonus!
When we arrive Sir Richard is hosting a three day tour and party where we’ll be shown around Mumbai and take part in several photo opportunities and many suprises along the way I have no doubt.
I won’t be on tomorrow as I’m on CNN at 0845 if anyone’s interested 😀 and then I have to go and pick up my girlfriend from LHR who is flying in from the US to come to Mumbai!

The first few trips are being operated on an A346 although it will quickly revert to being an A343 route as technically the apron infrastructure is not capable of supporting the A346.
