My next work trip kicks off this weekend.
Flying out of MME at 6am Sunday morning for the feeder flight into AMS; the first flight out is scheduled to be an F100.
I have a couple of hours to kill in Schipol before I’m on a 74M bound for Houston. Flight is scheduled for 10 hours and I think I’m in row 27; so probably quite close to the back with it being a combi. No seat back TVs from what I can gather…..booo!
After a day in Houston, I’m flying with Continental on a domestic flight Monday evening up to Boston. This will probably take just under 4 hours and is scheduled to be on a 737-300.
Head back home on Thursday on what should be my dream plane – an old DC10-30 of Northwest. Never been on a wide 3 holer and can’t wait to get on one of these before they all go – don’t care if the entertainment is old fashioned; I just want this DC10 flight. I know I’ve been quiet on trip reports of late but I do intend to write this section up if nothing else. A flight time of just under 7 hours sees me back in Amsterdam early doors Friday.
Then an F-70 back into Teesside Friday morning.
Should be a good week – then off to Cyprus on holiday next Sunday.
I’ll try and log on next week and let you know how the journey is going.
Bye for now!
🙂
