Oh No! I’m being Mobbed by my Fans!

Well, Apart from getting on TV, the papers etc, as with many other celebs, she got a huge amount of FREE publicity.
I recon the four Celebs who make the most for doing absolutely Zilch in my eyes, are the judges on the X factor, who make shedloads, just by giving, or not, their vote on a performer , Simmon Cowel etc.
As long as I can pay the bills, have a good holiday, and reasonable health, what more can one want?.(Hally Berry, for a start:D)

Nothing new, that Beckham woman (Victoria or Posh or some such) used to phone the newspapers herself telling them where she would be and when!

I know who she is now after a quick Google, I thought she was that singer named after the penguins; Adelie is it? As far as Rheanna being considerably richer than me, most of the population of the country are considerably richer than me. I’m quite happy being an anonymous pauper thank you with half a brain and some integrity rather than a vacuous airhead with a few bob in the bank.

My original post wasn’t really about her music and I had actually heard of her before I posted (despite my little ‘pop’ at her seemingly desperate craving of attention) but I was criticizing her for complaining about being ‘mobbed by fans’ when she had quite obviously set the whole thing up via ‘Twitter’.

Of course, Rihanna being mobbed by fans isn’t ‘news’ but Rihanna complaining about being mobbed by fans is…..isn’t it?

Now where was the last time I noticed anything about Rihanna on the BBC? Ah, yes here it is:

I think if fame turns you into the sort of publicity-hungry ego tripping waste of skin Rihanna seems to have become, you can keep it. I prefer to be a (comparatively) normal member of the human race thanks.

Well, up until seeing the link, I had never heard of her. I don’t see why, that just because you have no time for ‘celebrities’ of her ilk, it should warrant being likened to those two individuals pictured:rolleyes:

You can scoff all you like but she is still considerably more famous and richer than any of us will ever be.
Not my kind of music but that doesn’t alter the fact than many people enjoy her music.
