Please note: The Salute to the V-Force sorties are long owing to the distances involved. XH558 will be taking off with a full fuel load, and will be very heavy at locations early in the sortie. What can be achieved at each location is limited by time, the weight of the aircraft, local air traffic control restrictions, and for non-airfield locations, the nature of the permission granted by the CAA. Consequently, please only expect flypasts at all locations.
Is it coming to East Midlands or not????

Eight minutes to get from London to Cambridge, passing over Hendon at 285mph on a direct track for Duxford would do it, so if they have cleared a direct track it could be done, but only just.

Southend at 14:26, or so I am lead to believe. The clue is in the time 🙂
Then on to Norwich.

I’m intrigued by the times for Sunday…..
Hendon – 14.00
Duxford – 14.08
Only eight minutes from Hendon to Duxford…….that’s quite quick!
