Hello all ,i was reading that some one heard there was a tunnel with stored aircraft in Hampshire .This is true it is off the A 32 ,there is a track about half a mile up the hill before the cross roads at i believe its called the hogs back.i have been to the tunnels but you can not gain access.a friend of mine who is some years older than i am ,used to go there in the early 80,s and get in through a small door in the main door.As the story goes they had many parts out including an ejector seat. A group of travelers made camp in the open ground in front of the tunnels, so I’m told and very sadly they set fire to the Contence of the tunnels ,my Friends said it burned for days, now the entrance is coved and only the open space a bit like a dusty old car park is there with no clue of whats in side.I would have loved to have got in back then , by all accounts there was hole airframes as fare as the eye could see and crates of aircraft bits ,props wheels and tyres .mmmmmm what a thought a .

The thread was heavily moderated for a reason, so you will not see all the entries that were made. Suffice to say, it got ugly!

I think the one you’re referring to has come up in various discussions already.
I’d try a search on this forum for “tunnels”, and you should find mention of it.
I’d do the search for you but, as I’m colour blind, the image verification doodah makes it all but impossible for me to use.
Welcome to the forum, by the way.
