Old Aircraft Electrical Parts

Anyone know what these are for ?

(with the exception of the resistor – for which I have a basic inkling)

The L/R switch was wired to the resistor.

The L/R switch has an AM stamp ; SS&S and Ref No 9/710

The resistor has a winged smiths logo

The butlers B-MD6 switch has Butler ltd 1092/1 and HM1 on the reverse.
