Took a ride to Old Buckenham today, nice weather, a mixture of aircraft, and then by battery gave out ! Keith.

So my aircraft recognition skills have not totally deserted me then? I don’t know why but the Taylor has always appealed to me.

You are correct Mike, just looked in GINFO, its a 1983 Taylor Monoplane, 1600cc Volkswagon engine, poss owned by a gent from Frinton on Sea, Essex.

Well, you certainly had some good weather for your visit. Thanks for sharing some cracking shots. Am I correct in thinking that ‘DB is a Taylor monoplane?

I spent the day wondering why I took the Stearman apart on Wednesday night, it would have been a cracking day for a whiz round. Great pictures, thanks for sharing.

Nice shots there like the 1st Sterman shot 😎 are they all based there?

James

No,the Stearman (G-OBEE) which is used for pleasure flights, the Jungmann and Christen Eagle are IIRC. All the rest are visitors. G-DUDE is owned by Stan Hodgkins who used to fly the Martin-Baker Meteor, amongst other things.
