As a member at OB, I recieved the following which hopefully you will find of interest – OB is a delightful place, very friendly and I am sure the organisers would welcome as many visitors as possible. I don’t know the start time yet, but I assume the display will start at 1400hrs local:
Dear Members,
We will be holding our Airshow on Sunday 24 June 2007 in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
As you might know this is the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight so we are having a Festival of Battle of Britain Aircraft including the BBMF (Spitfire, Hurricane & Dakota) and a Messerschmitt 109 as well as P51 Mustang, Seafire, Stearman Display team. There wil also be the usual extreme aerobatics from Denny Dobson (Extra 300), Will Curtis (Sukhoi) and Al Coutts (Pitts Special) plus much more. Hot food all day!
If you wish to fly in please email us for a PPR number. The following conditions will apply:
1. All visitors must be on the ground by 12.00 local
2. All visitors must comply with the CAA requiremnt that no pilots or passengers are allowed to their aircraft until the display is complete, which will be approximately 17.00 local.
3. Free landing for members but since the event is in aid of the EAAA we would appreciate a contribution of ~£10 per person.

All you had to do was ask one of the fuel crew and they would have gave me a call,i marshalled “Doll” and T28 into position.
Still had a wonderfull day ,dispite the rain.
Highlight of the day for me was Rod Dean in the Seafire, great display,i know i`m bias over this one but it is kept at the Weald.G-ANPK
I agree the Seafire display was amasing. Did you help sort the glider out?

Just keep your fingers crossed that the weather holds. It isn’t looking that wonderful currently. I suspect I will be wandering around in of those highly sought after and collectable hi-viz jackets……………
