Old Buckenham – Worth a fresh visit

If you are passing, I suggest you might wish to drop into Old Buckenham.

They have completely transformed the caff into a restaurant that Mrs Moggy and I were happy to go and eat in yesterday night.

Nik Coleman is working really hard at providing a day and evening venue that offers something way ahead of the £100 burger (Though the daytime menu does have the ‘Mustang’ a £7.95 burger that starts off at 20oz +. Check you w&b calculations first)

Give him some support guys or we’ll be stuck with cr*p airfield food for ever.

Moggy

Mmmmm. Maybe kill two birds with one stone – food and checking OB as a potential place for my first faltering steps in powered aviation. It will have to wait at present as I am at Watton watching “spacies” taking THEIR first faltering steps towards achieving their Gliding wings – and it’s bl**dy cold out there today!

I’ll second Moggy’s recomendation, I’ve eaten there a few times, resisted the temptation for a Mustang Burger so far, providing the strip at Hardwick dries out a little in the next 24 hours I’m told Old Buckenham is where lunch will be served tomorrow (could drive but it’s not as much fun).
