Been driving past this place for 20 years, actually remembered to stop & take some pics today 🙂




It’s the former War Eagle Field, Polaris Flight Academy in Lancaster Ca…. now part of 2 prisons, the dog pound & a hospital.

Not sure how many are still left at Bracebridge Heath, but you can see an aerial view of the site on page 9 of the North Kesteven Airfield Trail brochure; you can download it in PDF format from here! 🙂
