An earlier thread on the early Spitfire ring gunsight has prompted me to post this image of a ring sight I have in the hope that some-one out there can tell me a bit more about it.
The diameter is some 80mm and is very similar to the one on the image of the RAF Museum Spitfire Mk 1 but four support arms for the centre ring instead of the one. I can find no evidence of a part number on either the ring or the base.
