A glorious winters day at Old Warden. Well done to everyone at Shuttleworth Collection and to all the pilots who turned up.

I concur, all great shots but those that feature the ‘boxkite’ and contrails in the sky, I think give a true representation of 100 years of flight.
I really must get to Old Warden one day!

Well Done
A Superb day indeed at Old Warden. And where else was there to be on this anneversary.
Well done to all involved.
I particulary enjoyed my flight in the Magister and it was good to meet “Man on the Fence” Finally!
Looking forward to next year!!!

It puts ‘100 years of powered flight’ into perspective that the Boxkite though a replica is its self nearly 40 years old!

Absolutely gorgeous array of shots – thanks for sharing.
Particularly like the misty moisty Bleriot monoplane shot MOTF, absolutely perfect.

The Cap belongs to Stuart Goldspink and it’s him flying her – I will ask him.

Thanks everyone for these wonderful frozen memories. They’re stunning.

Not sure if grin is real or just frozen there

Not a bad time to have your first hop in a Boxkite
