Old Warden – 24/10/13
A quick visit this morning found the newly arrived Mew Gull now in the back of the hangar but…..

… an unusual sound outside found the ‘new’ Mew Gull G-HEKL doing a circuit of the airfield presumably up from nearby Henlow. It returned a short time later at several thousand feet so unfortunately with only a small camera to hand the images are purely a record.

Otherwise back inside the hangars there might be some suggestion the recent reports on TV news of deadly spiders have reached Old Warden ??

.. further research suggests otherwise !!

I did wonder what the slightly odd shaped red aircraft that passed over my house about 6pm tonight was. It didnt look like the normal Chippie from Henlow.

I just think the ‘gentleman’ ascending the ladder of the Lysander has just been rather careless with his candyfloss!

Nice shots, pleased to see the sense of humour is still there. I called in to OW for lunch and the centre of attraction was an Army Apache. Looked a bit out of place on OW’s green sward.
