old warden comes with a high personal recomendation. if you ever have an oppertunity to go, go for it. it is always something special. there are also alot of unique aeroplanes and special photo oppertunities.

Rob,
All I mean’t was maybe a small badge/sticker or patch could be produced by the forum. After all I’m sure I’ve stood next to many forumites at shows without realising it.

Thanks Niall,
Maybe its time we had a simple enamel forum badge that we all wear, so as we know will all part of the historic forum.

Lovely stuff Gary, the Bleriot was fantastic wasn’t it? I’m beginning to think it would be a good idea to write off June and July for airshows – the light is so much nicer this time of year 🙂

Thanks for all the kind comments, but when the weather cooperates there is no better venue than Old Warden.
Here’s a final selection from me.

Great pics Mr Brown.
Particularly like the Avro 19 take off and the Desoutter I showing its remarkable angle of dangle undercarriage!

Glad you liked them Bradburger.
Airbedane flew a very spirited display in AR501, a last blast before the engineers starting unbolting everything for the winter maintenance.

Very nice shots indeed Septic. 🙂
Love the one of AR501 diving.
Nice to see that the weather behaved it’s self.
Roll on the 2006 season!
