Old Warden Flying proms 2005 (lots of photos, all thumbnails)

Well here are the pictures as promised from a very wet Proms at Old Warden. I have included a number of images that sum up the evening, including the crowds and performers from a fantastic night. Some are a little arty, with slow shutter etc, but it’s a bit different.

Lets start with a rainy day, and then some aircraft followed by flags and fireworks!

Great Pics Darren.
You’ve really captured the concert atmosphere 🙂

I’ve never taken firework shots, must give it a go this winter.
cheers

Great pics Darren, under difficult conditions. Great feel for the event.

One of dem pilots is a far more useful chap than any mere ‘driver, airframe’* – No.2 in thne white, Chris Morris, Chief Engineer, without whom & team, etc…

*No disrespect to the pilots, I don’t really mean it. Honest. Wash your windscreen?

Gorgeous shots of the Lizzie, Darren. You let them get the Chippy wet?????

Thanks mate, yes the Chippy need another clean! We must arrange soon.

Last picture is the guys who put on a great performance considering the awful weather. Thankyou pilots!
