Had an enjoyable Sunday out in Bedfordshire if a little windy at times but it kept the edge off the heat and made the best, photography wise, of the new CAA display rules.

Super photos Brian. I like the Teddy Bear in the glider. 🙂 Your Red Arrows crossover shot is very dramatic too.

Short answer, Yes.
I think camera lens manufacturers are going to love the new CAA regulations!

Short answer, Yes.
The P-40 was high and far away for its display and you could see more underside from the others as they were flying a bit higher. The dogleg turn was still there but the turn wasn’t tight as before and not a lot of topsides. The Hurricane and Blenheim made best use of the new datums with tight turns. The Reds flew their rolling display, because of airliner traffic flying overhead for Luton, which I thought suited the Old Warden location because it kept them lowand if they had done their full display they would have become dots at the top of the loops.

Nice pictures Brian. Was the display very noticeably affected by the new rules?
