Old Warden Shuttleworth Flying Festival 02-06-2019

A relaxing day.

Instead of taking up my usual spot at this airshow and then wondering around for different photo angles, I decided to stay put toward the other end of the airfield to make sure I got decent pictures of the Dakotas taking off for the short hop back to Duxford.

I was two far away from the other end where I usually go to get pictures of take offs of smaller aircraft and also because the sun is over the back of your right shoulder, the light for taking pictures of any aircraft turning the corner from the right is not so good as the light on the aircraft which are coming round the corner of the crowd line from the left .

However, I was not bothered about moving position this time after the Dakotas left but it did mean I took fewer photos on the day.

At the next Old Warden show, I will revert back to my usual rough position and wander around.
