What a FANTASTIC day!!! So first of all VERY many thanks to all those who made this possible. I always thought that it was impossible to improve upon the wonderful Old Warden atmosphere – I was quite obviously wrong! So just a few pics from me …

The weather was that good that even this mediocre photographer managed to get a half decent shot of the Provost …
A spirited display from the Hurricane …
The Klemm basking in the sunshine …
Race ya! …
A sparkly Tomtit …
first of the days “moonshots” …
Backlit SE5A on green velvet …

and finally I caught the Blériot in near dark conditions complete with “prop-blur” & added “wing-blur” & fuselage-blur” !?!
I thank you!

Great shots. I’m really looking forward to go to an Old Warden airshow again.

Absolutely Wonderful.
I really must get to one of these sunset displays next year.
Looks like a fabulous day out, captured with fabulous photos.

Oh yes, a wonderful set, possibly exceeding your very usual high standards!
They are all good, but I think special mention must go out to 3 of them:
Look at the expressions caught in that Napier shot, an absolute classic, the faces really tell it all.
As for the Blériot, bloody hell, 1/25 of a second!? 😮 You did well there, really well.
And what a finalé shot, Hugh would be well pleased with that I imagine, a classic pose and capture!! Would you mind if I sent it on to him?
Cheers,
Kev.
