Would I be making a good choice in purchasing one of these for aviation photography? I was looking at the Twin Lens kit of 14-40mm & 40-150mm. No other reason than I’ve always been an Olympus fan. Thanks.

By coicidence, after months of deliberating, I too have just bought an Olympus E-500 twin lens kit, to replace my trusty OM20.
So far I have been very pleased with the results & impressed with it’s fast response times.

Thanks for the advice guys. I decided to go for it and got a really good deal at our local Currys of all places. Camera, 35-90mm lens, 80-330mm lens and a 1g Fuji card for £550. They also threw in an Olympus picture printer as part of the deal but I don’t think it’ll ever get used.
Roll on Abingdon to give a try. Might pop up to Booker first though to get a feel of it.

By all accounts there a very good system a not a bad price tag for the twin lens kits . around £600 is not bad . the 40-150 becomes a 300mmm top end due to the 2x crop of the sensor . not sure about any longer lens for this system ?
