Omani Huey (Bell Iroquois) history help

Guys,

Is there anyone out there who can help me with a little history research on the following RAFO (Royal Air Force of Oman) Huey’s?

The numbers on them (read left to right, and therefore possibly the wrong way around) are:

706
733
727
729

All are past flying and I’d love to know more. Google is chronically slow out here and limited availability to me. Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Many thanks,

C6

Thanks for the response Gents. I assume they were new build for the Omani’s then? Looking a bit sun bleached in their current location.

You can get more details on scramble.nl
http://www.scramble.nl/milbase.htm

AB205s 706 is c/n 4169, 727 4487, 729 4493, 733 4047.

There were also 5 Bell 214s delivered in 1970

There is still the wreck of a Huey at an army base on the Saiq Plateau in Oman.
