I know that the Canberra TT.18 cockpit, WK118, went to the Avro Heritage Museum, and that the potentially working Griffon went to Roy Millington, at Millington Air Base, but where did the other stuff go ?

there being a 20% buyers premium, even 10% is legalised theft, considering they still take their “traditional” cut from the seller
Commercial purchasers tend to factor that into their maximum bid price, so that the seller can end up with a double whammy – paying the seller’s commission and achieving a price some 20% less than otherwise might have been obtained. As ever, the only winner is the auction house!

I seem to recall looking at the online catalogue, and there being a 20% buyers premium, even 10% is legalised theft, considering they still take their “traditional” cut from the seller; a recent Cheffins sale was 10% (+vat) both ends with a £35 catalogue that you needed for entry to the sale ground. (admits two)

What’s happened to the Phoenix UAV?

Thanks Shorty01, I missed the kestrel prop by £25, then.

The Kestrel prop went for £600. Fortunately I only discovered this sale a few hours after it closed or I could be nursing a sore credit card now. That Leonides would have been a good project to do with my lads. Details of other stuff here.
It will be interesting to see what turns up on ebay and at what mark up.

I’d be interested to know what the stuff made, I left bid on the Kestrel prop, but was unsuccessful. Had a pleasant day looking at it all on Sunday.
