Have always enjoyed my trips across the UK over the years..but one of my favorite places is Bodney ..home to the famed 352nd Fighter Squardon..The BlueNosers ..took these photos in the early 90’s on a nice October afternoon. Plus a few photos here from my collection. Had always hope the group veterans would try and have the tower restored. But to many cold English days have passed since the group came home in 1945!

One of my favorite photos from Bodney… a lone BlueNose P-51 sits on the grass strip after a long day over the Reich escorting the massive B-17 & B-24 formations… under the gase of farmer watching over his flock of sheep !
The old control taken around 1990 and the groups top ace at that time… Maj George E Preddy Jr heading into the tower for a briefing !
