On the 24th I’m doing a marathon day of flying with Ryanair, I’ll be flying the following route.
FR2752 – London Stansted to Blackpool (Buzz BAe 146)
FR925 – Blackpool to Dublin (737-200)
FR284 – Dublin to London Stansted (737-200)
I’ve flown Stansted – Blackpool before and it’s a great route. I love Blackpool airport it’s so small and compact and is just so different from any other airport I’ve visited. I’m been in contact with the airport authority at Blackpool and we’re currently in the process of organising a one on one airside tour! They are a great bunch there, very friendly indeed!
I’ve never flown from Dublin before, is it a good airport in terms of viewing and facilities?
Luckily I’ve finally replaced my camera that got stolen so I’ll take a load of pictures and post them here 🙂

Dublin town centre is about 20 mins away on the bus, 5 euros each way.

I probably won’t make it into the Towns/Cities. When I flew to Blackpool I spent the majority of the day in the town as I already knew it well due to having family who live nearby and competing in various fencing tournaments there over the years.
This time I’ll just be staying at the airport having a look round and of course having the private tour 😉
I don’t think I’ll risk trying to make it into Dublin, I’ve heard the airport is quite far out and I only have 4 hours there. At least I get some good quality photography time 🙂
BTW, my signature pic was taken at Blackpool, it’s G-UKAC, the aircraft I flew on the first time I went up there.

Have a great trip, Martin. Are you planning on having some time to spare at each stop so that you can admire what each town/city has to offer?
