Lancman put yer thinking cap on for this one mate.
I had a chap sign my guestbook with the following request….
Looking for information on a Lancaster that a Farmer built a barn around somewhere in England.
This is a new one for me…
Can anyone shed a little more light on this mystery lancaster??
I will see if he can email me more info..

I too think he meant ‘Just Jane’. I had one foot firmly in my mouth.

Could he mean the dismantled Lincoln out the back at Sandtoft? It’s tenuous, but all I can think of…

Not sure.
The fella that posted this to my guestbook see,s young in his late teens or early 20s maybe. I think he meens a dismantled lancaster so this would rule out NX611.
There was a rumor going around that there was a dismantled Lancaster in a barn in souther Ontario Canada but so far this has come to nothing..!

I wonder if he is referring to ‘Just Jane’, lovingly restored by the Panton brothers at East Kirkby? They are a farming family…

A Farmer? I know of an Alan Farmer, could that be him? Didn’t know he had a barn. Keep me posted, that would be a wonderful achievement, and he may let the public see it.
