[updated:LAST EDITED ON 23-11-02 AT 04:48 PM (GMT)]Yup I heard about this around three weeks ago :7 Thanks…

The flights are interesting and a definite good piece of news for the airport which is loosing airlines quicker than it is gaining them. Last time they were in at JER was the summer of 1999 with their flights to DUB (the year I got to travel on their flight), however, these did not return for the next summer because of the trouble EI was in.

The fact there are flights on TUE,THU and SAT is very good because when they were last at JER they only had flights on SAT.This is going to be more appealing to tourists as Jersey is increasingly becoming popular as a short break destination rather than your main holiday destination.

I would like to take advantage of these flights because I think EI is a wonderful airline, but with the cost of inter island travel and the fares to DUB,it would just be too expensive.A shame!Anyway,I will be lucky enough to see them on my annual spotting trip in the summer.

They will also start flights to Lisbon and Bologna.
