Malcolm Porter, Chairman of the CL44 Association, loadmaster and raconteur extraordinaire will be giving a presentation to the Manchester Branch of The International Association of Aviation Historians on August 12th 1930 hrs. His presentation will be entitled Hastings to Azerbaijan relating to starting in the RAF working on Hastings and finishing with the CL-44 Guppy in Azerbaijan.This event is open to all prop fans.

A lovely aeroplane the CL44. Back in the 80s and in another life as a Traffic Officer I used to work CL44s for Aer Turas and an American outfit AEI (Air Express International)
