One for the 'Wing' collectors

Just bought this tunic, nice wartime Warrant Officers issue tunic 1945, with correct cuff badges,

But what about these wings ? At first glance I thought ‘copy’ but the detail is very fine and certainly of silk thread, before I take a knife to the stitching of one end to peek behind the back, what are your thoughts.

I have many pilots tunics, all wings are slightly different, but I have not come across a pair like this before.
