Hey LBARULES, I too have been on Britannia G-CDUP, last August to Menorca, I also loved it!
Seems to be one of the forums most flown a/c! Me, you and Britannia.
I flew on it LBA-CFU. Cracking machine 😀

Nice pic i know everybody says it always rains in Manchester, but i thought it was nice everywhere im only 30 miles away and its nice here

The Spanish charters are common at every airport!!
By: BY767 - 12th June 2004 at 13:06
MYT bring an A321 here aswell every so often and the FCA A320’s are common.
The 757’s are rare nowerdays for some reason. I thought they would increase with BRS expanding but they didn’t. MON operated to Faro with an A321 last year every Sunday and XLA bring a 738 here sometimes and the occasional AEU 737 plus all the other Spannish charters (IWD JKK etc)

Thought it was as last summer we had an A320 on a W pattern from BRS into LBA every Thursday.
By: green320 - 12th June 2004 at 13:00
Yes!! I have been to a website with live arrivals and departures and MYT base a 320 and FCA an A321.

I have heard about G-CDUP being your favourite 752. As I said, the words about Onur Air were not mine!!
Yeah, I think I read those words on Ringway Reports.
BY- Ah right, understand now mate 🙂
What do MyTravel use down there? An A320?

I’ve had a whole week of sun here, which hasn’t happened in several years. Yet Manchester, about 40 minutes away, its raining!!

Fantascit pic Grey Area, weather here is fine and dry and i live in a mountanous area

Very sunny here as well in Bradford, not a million miles away from MAN.
Mark, I have had a search round trying to find out where the flight was from, cant really find out. It might have been operating an Onur Air flight, as according to the website they don’t serve England.
Incidentally the website (www.freebirdairlines.com) is a very well designed website. All airlines websites should be like it!
BY- Can’t understand why it looked very big, you get 757s into BRS dont you?
It just seemed much bigger than a 757 for some reason. The 757’s are only operated by BY really. MYT and FCA don’t seem to bring theirs here much anymore. The 757 is the biggest thing that comes here and there’s only about 4/5 757 services a day so the MD-80 was quite big for the usual a/c here.
The A370 always reminds me of an airbus a/c everytime I go down it. Nearly everyday as it links Yatton to my school in Backwell and the city of Bristol.

I don’t see what’s impossible about Onur Air’s task. They have regular flights into there to Turkey thats all.
G-CDUP, probably my favourite 757 i’ve flown on 😀
By: green320 - 12th June 2004 at 12:52
It is very sunny here also!! But typical Manchester is raining!! Indeed, BY have G-CDUP on the ground there at the moment!! Onur Air are taking on an impossible task by trying to become a based airline at MAN(not my words!) by bringing in A300s and A321s daily.
