I didn’t find it funny at all … one word = condescending.
And … just because people are large does NOT mean they “stuff food down their gob” all the time 😉

We are (generally speaking) what we eat Lance 😉
I am not skinny myself, but have heard so much BS over the years about weight.
It is the youngsters I worry about, when I was at school (1957-69) an overweight kid was very rare, the ones that were overweight probably did have medical reasons.
But nowadays I am seeing a v high proportion of overweight youngsters…very worrying !

The only trouble most fat people have is having enough time and money to stuff even more food down their gob 😉
Oh, you’re winning loads of friends here.

It’s not funny because he was fat.
It’s not funny because he was scared.
It’s not funny because it’s something he was obviously doing against his will.
It’s not funny, it’s just exploitation.

I just think that fat people, and fat women in particular, have a really hard time.
Is it just me who thinks this ?
Yes :diablo:

I know – I …know … some people have medical problems etc but that is a very small minority,I am not exactly skinny myself but dont kid myself that it is anything other than over/wrong eating 😉

Perhaps what makes it slightly more funnier with the kid being overweight, is the ‘wobble’ and distortion in his body when he slips in to the restraints.

Actually, sad old bat that I am,I find this quite an interesting topic.
Is it funny ? Well I suppose yes it is, in the way that it’s somehow comical to witness someone else in mild,non-threatening distress.I’ve certainly done my share of laughing at fat women falling over on You’ve Been Framed.
What interests me is why the person who put it on YouTube thought it necessary to put in the title that it was a fat kid. Why do that ? Would it not have been funny if it was an average-sized kid ? Is there something intrinsically funny about fat people ?
Before anyone thinks I’m taking a personal interest here,I’d like to point out that I’m not a two-ton-Tessie myself, and anyone who’s overweight should try hard to get thinner.
