One of the many unknown Polish aircrew, Antoni Falandysz.

Hi,

At the moment I work with an electrician from England which father came from Poland and flew with the RAF during the war. His name was Antoni Falandysz and he was flying with the Polish airforce when Poland was invaded. At a certain moment they got the order to fly to Romania. When the arrived there they became prisnors. After some time Antoni and a few others mananged to escape and started a long journey that eventually brought them to Engalnd. In England he joined the free Polish and flew as navigator on Wellingtons. He survived the war and after the war he stayed in England and worked for De Havilland. Would it be difficult to find any information about his carreer in the RAF?
Attached a map the Antoni made about his track during the journey to England, a post war photo of Antoni and a photo of Antoni and two others in Greece.
Under the map he wrote a that it was a journey he hope he would not have to do again.

Best regards,

Mathieu.
