He was a great actor. Always liked him in Heartbeat, Keeping up appearances and the Royale Family. 🙂

As others have said a great, very underated comedy actor, with several unforgettable characters to his name. One of the most memorable for me was as Twiggy in the Royale Family, dancing with Jim Royale to Mambo No5 whilst half heartedly stripping wallpaper. Priceless! 🙂

Very sad news indeed, Geoffrey Hughes was a great comedy actor, enjoyed his down to earth roles, from Carry On at Your Convenience, Onslow in Keeping Up Appearances, to Twiggy in Royle Family.
