[updated:LAST EDITED ON 14-12-02 AT 04:56 PM (GMT)]Yes there was…at least we used to see Worldways Canada on weekly charters thru Stansted during the mid 80s. Initially flights used DC8-63, and then Tristars. I think they have gone now, along with another Canadian carrier Odyssey International, who operated some of the nicest liveried B757s that I can recall. The tragedy of Odyssey was that it was the parent company Soundair which went under and took the financially healthy airline with it, an all too familiar scenario.

Thanks a million A320 for the pics….The model that I have is 1/50 and is of the a/c C-GRYN. I love the c/s but I really don’t remember seeing the airline during my career in aviation. I am told that they used to opr to LGW. Thanks again to all who responded.

RE: Ontario Worldair

My Mom actually worked for this airline back in the 80’s. I remember sitting in the 707 as a five year old! 🙂 Here are some links if you need pics or more info. I know a little but sure Mom can help out!

I’m not convinced that link is working even though it’s the exact URL. If you can’t call it up, e-mail me your address and I’ll e-mail you the page from my bookmarks.

Ignore that last reply, it’s a link for Canadian WorldWays, unless they are the same airline mind you ?
