A British Airways pilot caused a panic in his plane after pressing a wrong button. The passengers where informed by a recorded message that the plane would ditch in the north sea, and that the passengers had to prepare for an emergency landing.
As soon as the cabin crew noticed the mistake they tried to calm down the passengers.
The plane continued en route to Hong Kong. BA offered their apologies to the 275 passengers.
