In the 1960’s film ‘Operation Crossbow’ were the V-1 flying bombs that they used remote control models? Were the ones in the flying scenes scaled down or full sized? I assume some of the scenes where Spitfires were attacking them they were smaller r/c models?
I also read that the V-2 rocket and its transporter truck seen ion the film are now at the RAF Cosford Museum. Are they the genuine item from WWII? Or were they created for the film?
I watched the film for the first time this week and was really impressed by the special effects, the scenes where they blew up the houses were terrifyingly real.
