Operation Dimple

Does anyone have any information on the above mentioned operation that reputedly involved 58 Sqn flying reconnaissance missions over Eastern Europe in 1948?

hi,
when reading the op, I thought of the picture of the 4 RB.45’s in RAF markings, so I googled it, but that was Operation Ju-jitso. It does show a short video of a interview with one of the RAF navigators, and also a interview with a retired USAF Major General about training RAF pilots to fly missions on the U.2 upto when Gary Powers was shot down…
