Original unused still boxed Heywood compressor

I’ve been rumaging through our old barn this weekend, trying to have a clear out of some of the junk my Grandfather left behind.

I’ve come up with an original, boxed, unused Heywood compressor which was signed out of the factory in Galesburg, Illinois on November 27th 1943.

It’s in its origiinal Packard Rolls Royce box, still has the sticky tape on the threads and has its inspection labels are still with it.
