orlando sanford is a gr8 airport it may be small but is well equiped to cope with us british peeps tho the imagration staff were very rude but the rest of the staff were nice the baggage takes a while and its 15 paces from the terminal building to the dollar car hire travelcity direct place and cars it is also very good for viewing as looks directly onto the runway and can see most of the aircraft

But your friends would not know what the comparison is on board a virgin flight as they only fly on BA flights and are around BA customers. 😉 😎

I have friends who have worked for both (as well as other carriers).

No reason why they should be any different to the Virgin Orlando passengers. I shall check with my BA cabin crew friends and let you know.

Wysiwyg thats if you fly Virgin, which are one of those airlines which when they began boarding the girl said ” all passengers with small childeren…..” everyone got up and boarded. Virgin is, I’am surprised still a scheduled airline as they carry enough baffoons and their standard of customer is usually much lower than most other scheduled carriers. Although if you fly BA for examle you see that their standard of customers is much higher also on the US carriers they too do not fly as the “bucket and spade brigade”. Also most of the time BA and others (exept Virgin) prices are actually lower or the exact same.

Might I also say that I hope you don’t think Orlando is not good travel destination, and compare it to Benidorm. Our family’s company relys on the customer who wishes to stay in style in a luxury home, not a Motel 6 on I-Drive.

yes the only problem with sanford is the departures lounge is small especially with over 1000 people in there if you want quietness and gr8 facilities go to the inn if you go to the far end by the pub turn left go down then turn left agen it costs $75 dollers 4 4 peeps

I used to operate into MCO with Virgin. If the typical Virgin Orlando passenger is supposed to be of a higher standard I dread to think what schmucks we are taking to Sanford!

An Orlando passenger is an Orlando passenger whether they fly to MCO or Sanford. They either have a hoard of kids and had no choice in where the holiday was taken or they weren’t bright enough to realise there are better holiday locations elsewhere (eg Miami, Tampa, etc).

When I mean more formal, I mean theres a higher standard of person (if you know what I mean).

And yes Tampa is really good airport as well, especially because BA fly there.

Try Orlando, it’s much better and more formal.

But formal isn’t necessarily better. If you want to see charter aircraft from the UK then clearly Sanford is the better option.
