As usual I rushed around Oshkosh snapping away and failing to note details – now that I am writing captions for my pics I am stuck! Here are a couple of those I haven’t managed to identify – Stieglitz et al, can you come to the rescue please? Potted histories are always welcome, I like my captions to be detailed!

Thank you very much, everyone, for prompt replies that have enabled me to continue with hardly a break! I was planning to get a cup of coffee while waiting for answers, but didn’t have time!
The Japanese aircraft is presumably a replica Kate but I can now Google my way forward, thanks again!

The first one is almost certainly a Tora Tora replica of a Kate torpedo bomber, using a BT-13 airframe. Someone will certainly have a more detailed answer soon.

1. Nakajima B6N2 (but the engine seems to have been altered, and it should have a four-bladed prop, and the landing gear is too short; maybe a scaled replica based on a Harvard?)
2. an ordinary Stearman
