I can’t even figure out whether this is a Beech SNB-1 or AT-11!
Please help if you can! It would be nice to have the N registration if possible.

That’s correct.
A very beautiful AT-11.

In that case it’s the Beech AT-11 Kansan N7337C which won the Preservation Award, owned by Raymond E. Plote, of Elgin, Illinois.

No, 51025 clearly said U. S. Navy on the side.
The picture you posted is of AT-11 N7337C, for sure. I have several photos of it from the side, rear left quarter and nose for comparative verification.

Gulp! The one I photographed has “US Army” under the port wing! Having a top turret, does that make it 51025 then?

I was there the whole week. I had a green EAA Photo vest on much of the time.

There were two SNBs:
SNB-5 39570 U.S. Navy J-N-2 Naval Air Station Jacksonville
SNB-1 51025 U.S. Navy C-55 with top turret

Thank you very much, Dennis – were you there too? Are you the guy in the red and white shirt photographing the data sheet on the propeller? I would have done that if I had enough memory in the camera!

This is the US Army one, the other was US Navy. I think the Navy one had left by the time I got there (Friday), which was I believe after you had left. I am sure you got the better deal, by the way! Although my continuation of the trip into Canada resulted in some terrific experiences, as you may have seen on this Forum in my earlier threads.

There were two there, PL. Make sure you get the right one!
