Are any of the wierd and wonderful folk who view this platform going to Oshkosh this year?
I will be going, and with great good fortune,:D am able to bring 2 aeroplanes from Australia.
Perhaps we can meet around the Klemm l25d2 VH-UUR or the Comper Swift VH-ACG and chat, consume “Brats” and maybe some Millers.

G’day Roy,
Ah, the delightful travel 6,000 miles to see a local aeroplane… Nice to catch your Swift at Echuca, it’ll be fun to see it at Osh.
Thanks to the generosity of Paul (T-33 Driver on WIX) I’ll be staying at Oshkosh for the week this year – I’ll definitely stop by to say g’day – when I’m not lusting after Baldeagle’s mount, that is…
Cheers,

Howard,
I will be at either one as will David G and my wife Primrose. Make yourself known!

Scion…………
Thanks for the response. I understand situation, would be just wonderful to see them. It is great that you are taking them to Oshkosh where they can be presented in front of a wide audience.

I was hoping you and they would stick around for some of the other fly-ins, but will look for you at Oshkosh. I have a friend who is rebuilding an American built Klemm. See you in Wisconsin, hopefully I’ll be standing near this:

Baldeagle,
Just a week or so and then they get packed and returned to OZ.
Mike we have a part sponsership from a group which includes a “justice group” and a financial group “wealth educators for aviators” . The aeroplanes, because opf their history are only on a temp export permit and require return by a certain date.
It would be too expensive to bring them to the UK and the paperwork already is equivalent to the weight of one of the aeroplanes.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, wish I was going would just love to see both those a/c especially the Comper.
Scion, how about bringing them on over to England afterwards? There are a number of enthusiasts over here who would love to see them………….
