Overflying traffic FL150 and upwards !

Not many threads in this section, so i am a little dubious about starting a new one, but here goes 🙂

A year ago on clear days i had great fun with my 2 children using a Canon 350D and 300mm zoom lens. Overhead my house we see traffic going into Heathrow at around 15,000 and then overflying traffic naturally much higher, we would merrily snap away, and them zoom in a view our work on the cameras LCD screen.

Sadly the 350D and lens got stolen, when away from our property, and was not insured.

My question is now on a tight budget, what’s a option for me, without spending £300 + on another 350 and Lens.
