Conditions in this era are tough…especially in the aviation buisness. Things will get better. I have had a funds set aside for starting up some sort of brand of airline and at the moment i have atleast 750,000 GBP cashed in from Inheritence, sold houses etc. Eventually, this needs to rise to atleast £20 Million. By starting other buisnesses in real estate, retail and cookery i am confident that can be raised in atleast five years with loans.
My eventual plan is to create a brand of airline, real estate, fashion, retail, recording company, gym, night club and perfumes under the same name.
What! i have ambition! but i am no dreamer:p

I think he was on the wind-up. From what i have read, starting an airline is a ver difficult thing to do, not least due to the substantial capital required to even plan one. I think the best thing to do if you are seriously thinking about it is get at least 10 years work experience in one!! And save. Operations like Eastern (UK) and Air Wales or Air Southwest are probably of interest to you as they started of very small operations and are gradually exanding, concentrating on local markets and competing with the car and the train.

Aviation is a cut throat business. Look how many airlines have started and within 6 to 12 months they have gone bust.
A famous statement:
How do you become a millionaire in the Aviation business????
Start off as a billionaire.;)
