?????

I’ve been waiting for this day since she was recovered over 20 years ago! It’s a great tribute to the men of the 44th FS particulary CB Head her last pilot KIA after scoring14 kills, Sam Hitchcock her assigned pilot who flew her off the jeep carrier USS Nassau and the other 4 memebers of the lost flight John Little, Ed Talbot (pilot of 41-14205), “Zoom” Radzuikinas & John Lessing. Hopefully I’ll see her in person one day.

Never seems to be up there with the Spit and Muzzy popularity wise, but there really is something very pleasant about the P-40.
Nice shots and thanks for info

Nice pics, Ozter.

That’s Judy Pay on the wing and Steve Death, pilot with recent Merlin and P-40 time, particularly now… 😀

I had the pleasure of attending the first and second flights yesterday (beats being at work)- apparently both were flawless. Thanks to the folks at The Old Aeroplane Company for making all us interlopers welcome.

The attention to detail on this aeroplane is quite stunning. Word is it will be attending the AAAA fly-in at Echuca this weekend.
