between 11-12 today the TFC’s p-47 and hellcat flew over my house really low! Anyone know where they were going? Chelmsford is like the best place to see aircraft returning from airshows! trust me!!! i always seem to see planes goin to and from Duxford 😀 😀

They were at LCY for the annual Fun Day, a free show for local people.
From Dx there were ML407, the P47 and Hellcat, Pete Kynsey in the Cosmic Wind and Tom Moloney’s new Strikemaster. Also in attendance were Will Curtis in his Sukhoi 26, a CAP 232, a solo Utterly Butterly, the Tiger Club Turbulent Team and Anna Walker in a Jungman.

It looks as though they went to London City Airport. Chelmsford is too far away for me to go to see aircraft returning from shows, I choose to stand in a Norfolk field and am usually lucky enough to see at least one warbird.
