Just seen this sad news over on WIX.
Unfortunately, the pilot, Vlado Lenoch (former owner of P-51D ‘Moonbeam McSwine’ – now owned by Fred Akary in France) and his passenger, Bethany Root, were both killed.
It would appear that the aircraft involved was ‘Baby Duck’.

Very sad news – Vlado was a well-liked and very respected member of the WIX forum (as well as the larger US scene), and Bethany was an ag-pilot of some repute. All-round a horrible accident.

Very sad news – experienced pilot too with c. 17,000 flying hours.
Not wishing to speculate, but is it odd that there was no fire? Although I suppose ‘Big Beautiful Doll’ crashed at Duxford without fire.
Also the propellor looks incredibly intact and surely wasn’t turning at point of impact?
