P61 Black Widow 'Lady in the Dark'

Would anybody have any more details about this aircraft or even better a photo?
It was part of the 548 NFS USAAF, based on the island of LE Shama?, in the pacific and destroyed the last Japanese aircraft of WW2 (16/8/45)a KI-44 ‘Tojo’.
It was flown by a Major Solie Solomon, he has since changed his name to Lee Kendall and he has written an article in 2003 about the combat, I wonder if he is still alive?
I am hoping to write a small article about this aircraft as there is a copy of the nose art inside one of the DC6’S of Air Atlantique, does anyone know who painted it?
